Welcome to the newly opened Hofi of Landhuis Rooi Catootje, a serene green oasis nestled within the historic estate of Rooi Catootje. This expansive area, once vital for water storage during the rainy seasons, is now being lovingly restored to its former glory.
A Journey Through Nature and History The Hofi features a unique dam system that has been revitalized after 20 years of dormancy. This restoration project, part of the ‘Awa pa Kòrsou’ initiative, aims to tackle climate-related challenges such as droughts and flooding, ensuring the preservation of Curaçao’s natural heritage.
Discover the Flora and Fauna As you wander through the Hofi, you’ll encounter a diverse array of vegetation, including succulent Aloe Vera and fruit-bearing Mango trees.
