    • The Mongui Maduro Museum offers an intriguing look into the history of the Levy Maduro family, spanning four generations. This family played significant social and economic roles in Curaçao. Discover their contributions to:

    • The Rooi Catootje plantation since 1853
    • The demolition of the City wall of Punda, Willemstad
    • World War II heroes; George Maduro, Ena Dankmeijer Maduro & Emile Dankmeijer. 
    • The tragic “Trinta di Mei” event
    • The 1954 “Statuut”: The Charter of the Dutch Kingdom
    • and more.
    • The museum houses antique furniture, family heirlooms
    • The library safeguards an extraordinary collection of Judaica and Antillana books and newspaper clippings, curated by Mongui himself.
